The stone arch rises
Our title logo is now a fully 3D, path-traced stone arch: four cracked ribs around a falling star, carved WISHFALL beneath. It loops above.

Folk say you wish on a falling star. On Wishfall it works the other way round.
Every wish ever made rises and lodges in the sky. Since the Ammathi sang the star Ilun down, the sky has leaked those wishes onto this one island, through the Seam: a pale crack across the vault that glitters with caught debris by day and flares when a Great Fall is coming loose.
Each fallen star grants its wish to whoever claims it. A hot crater is a fortune. Left alone it cools, then sours, and the Sour sends its creatures toward the nearest people.
The sky never strikes what is already made. So chasers build.

Small drops close by. A quick detour on the way home, even alone.
A crater that rewrites the land around it into a living biome. Reach it before it cools.
Wishes shared by thousands. They come down with an apex, and leave permanent land.
From the coast inward, every ring is older, stranger and closer to the Cradle. The further in you go, the stronger the Glare, a radiance that drains life.
Salt meadows, fishing coves and Landfall Quay, where every chaser begins. The sky here is kind: no Glare, and only the gentlest families fall.
Fens and Lanterner ruins. Steer's Eye rises out of the reeds like a lighthouse that has lost its sea, and the water reflects things not standing above it.
Corrow terraces and forges cut into the crater wall. The Corrow wished never to break. They became the Ashen: unbreaking, unfeeling, still standing at their anvils.
The snapped tether-pillars of vanished sky-towns. The Lanterners wished to be closer to the stars. Through the right lens, their lanterns still burn up there.
Glass fields that were once a people. The Ammathi wished never to want again, and the wish was granted. Beyond them lies the Cradle.
Some wishes are shared by thousands. When one of them comes loose, it falls with its apex, the strongest of its family, and the land it hits stays changed for good.
The first is the Kilnmother, a body of Brandglass with a furnace for a belly, falling on Saltrim.
No Great Fall arrives unannounced. Read the sky at the Fenn Glass, and the landing circle shrinks.
The crack across the sky flares, and every chaser on the island looks up before breakfast.
Small stars fall in the colour of the coming family. Collect them, and learn what it wants.
Native creatures leave the landing ground, and the sky starts to hum.
Stand in the overflow of a Great Fall and it changes you. What you become is set by your intent in that moment: reach in, watch, or ask.
A star-forged body that hits harder the longer it keeps moving. Forgeborn don't stop, because stopping is when it catches up with them.
They see the flaws in a badly made wish, and mark them. Every wish is a promise with a crack in it somewhere; a Glinthunter finds it first.
They draw sky-circles on the ground and channel the sky through them. The Hush calls it theft. Choristers call it listening.
All three burn Kindle, the granted wish alight inside them. Attunement takes payment too.
